Oh, little blog, what shall I do with you?
I've neglected you in favor of the speedier and more visual Instagram.
The stats tell me that very few people visit you, but is that a good reason to ignore you?
To blog or not to blog. If only you could help me decide.
Hmmm... put out your fist like this...

I follow! Did you really sketch all of these objects? They look so real!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Claire! Yes, I did draw them all. The rock is one of my collection of rocks with white stripes thru them, the paper is just from a classic memo pad. The scissors were a little trickier: I wanted "old school" (literally) and bought them on eBay. If you look really closely, the metal is stamped with "Board of Education". Love that detail.
DeleteHmm. Resolution seems to be off, at least looking at this on my phone. I'll have to make sure that detail shows up now that I've told everyone it's there!
DeleteDon't stop your blog, I follow too! I'm always enjoying your art, it is so delicate. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog, too, Sarah. Blogs are good for posting longer, more involved pieces - and I think they are better at archiving, too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is just a matter of choosing the right format for each post?
Great points, Amanda. especially regarding archiving..so true, and I really hadn't considered that!
DeleteI don't instagram, so I hope you keep blogging. Love this piece!
ReplyDeleteReading your blog makes me happy!
ReplyDeletePlease don't stop blogging. I'm a ham artist and your sketches and watercolors give me much to enjoy. Ann
