I don't see any of the troublesome spots of which you speak.

Being spring in Australia, this picture reminds me that we need to eat up our very last pumpkin, grown last summer, which has been saved in the pantry. Yet there is also a touch of foreboding, because I know the Winter blues aren't far away. That just means I have to enjoy this season extra hard! And I love it when the Farmer's Market fills up with gourds & pumpkins of every size, shape, pattern & color. I've drawn a pumpkin too. I wish I had that green and white one.
Did you eat your pumpkin after drawing it? We did. The soup was yummy, although I must confess I felt a bit barbaric to cut the object of my drawing into small pieces. :-)
PaulaMindful Drawinghttp://www.mindfuldrawing.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-286168412856617838.post-86930916831213788282011-09-27T12:44:29.995-07:002011-09-27T12:44:29.995-07:00Hello Sarah!

Our seasons tend to roll in a little more gradually--but I can smell it in the air! I think this drawing is beautiful. All three pumps look successful to me. My eye goes straight to the orange one--such rich color. And I can only imagine how this time of year must resonate with you as a child brought up in the midwest. Fall is such an amazing time of year out there (something I experienced once while living in Ohio for a year). I tell you, being a California native, I hadn't realized how dramatic the seasonal changes could be..and now I have a huge appreciation for them and our amazing weather year round out here. Your illustrations just pop off the page..really wonderful work!Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04703768956294366254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-286168412856617838.post-55547277018887685012011-09-24T09:32:23.546-07:002011-09-24T09:32:23.546-07:00I love them all but especially the green one.
